Schedule: Sunday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Friday & Saturday off) OR Monday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (if preferred); 30 hours per week guaranteed during the school year (more hours available in the summer)

Benefits: The family is offering 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), paid major federal holiday, 5 paid sick days, and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed.

Household Dynamic:
A kind and welcoming family in Bucktown is looking for a nanny who is playful, engaging, and full of positive energy! Their 5.5-year-old daughter is bright, curious, and attends a gifted school Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.The nanny will be responsible for picking her up from school, planning fun and interactive activities, and fostering a nurturing environment. Dad works from home two days per week, and Mom will be in and out while the nanny is working. The family does not currently have pets but would like to get a cat in the future. They are seeking a nanny who is warm, friendly, and upbeat, enjoys being outdoors, is playful and goofy, and has a positive and flexible attitude. Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus but not required.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a warm, energetic, and engaging nanny who is reliable, organized, and a proactive self-starter. Flexibility is key, as they would appreciate someone who can assist with occasional light household tasks when needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a home where a parent is occasionally present and should bring a positive, playful, and adaptable attitude to the role. While not required, fluency in French or Spanish would be a plus. Additionally, the nanny should be open to occasional domestic and international travel (1-2 times per year) as part of the family's lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
Pick up from school and plan engaging afternoon activities
Create a fun, structured, and warm environment
Occasional light household tasks (family has a housekeeper, but flexibility for light laundry, errands, and general tidying is appreciated)
Drive child to and from activities as needed (a car is required, and parking is available)
