Benefits: The family is offering competitive benefits including 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 6 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays and a monthly healthcare stipend if needed.
Live-Out: This is a live-out role.
Household Dynamic:
A warm and welcoming family in Wellesley is seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny to care for their two children. While their 2.5-year-old son is in school from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, the primary focus will be on their infant daughter. The family values a nanny who is proactive, engaging, and excited to plan playdates, organize activities, and create a structured yet fun environment. Both parents travel frequently for work, and Dad works from home twice a week in a separate office. Occasional overnights and travel (1-2 times per year, mostly to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard) would be appreciated.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a nanny who is experienced with newborns, energetic, and engaging. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and social, creating a warm and structured environment for the children. Reliability and safety consciousness are key, as both parents travel frequently. Organization and tidiness are also important, as the role includes light household duties. A self-starter who takes initiative and can seamlessly balance childcare with household responsibilities will thrive in this role. Above all, they seek someone warm, upbeat, and genuinely invested in their children’s well-being and development.
Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing and attentive care for both children
Plan engaging activities and organize playdates
Assist with light household duties, including:
Laundry for the family
Basic home tidying & organization
Meal prep (once the baby transitions to solids)
Kitchen clean-up
Minimal care for the family’s mini golden doodle
Occasional overnights and travel support
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with newborns is required
Professional nanny experience strongly preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle (parking available)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
